Extract Audio Clip from Video File

Step 1: Add the video

Run DVDFab 12, choose the Converter module, and add the video that you want to extract audio from.

 

 

Step 2: Select a video format

Navigate to the profile library via the "choose other profile" option from the Profile Selection Box, and click Format > Video > General to choose a video format as you wish, for example, MP4;

 

 

Step 3: Trim the video

Click the Video Editor icon to go into the panel where you can trim the video.

 

 

Click the “Trim” icon, drag the two red playheads to select the duration of your wanted part (where your target audio/music comes from) from the video, and then click the Trim Invert button at the bottom left corner of this panel, next Click the OK button on the bottom right corner to return to the main interface;

 

 

 

Step 4: Select an audio format

Go back to the profile library and click Format > Audio to choose an audio format you need.

 

 

Step 4: Customize your audio

Now it’s time to customize your video. You are able to change the audio name, and if there are multiple audio tracks, you can choose the one you want. You can also click the “Advanced Settings” icon to change the audio parameters.

 

 

 

Step 5: Select a directory and start the conversion process

Move to the bottom of the main interface and click the “folder” to select an output directory to save the audio file. And then you can click the “Start” button to start the process of extracting audio clip from video.
